Food and Demonstrations

Eat Your Way Through Demonstrations

We’ve got a great lineup of demonstrations and lots more food at this summer’s third annual Hanover Harvest Festival, Sat., August 4 th.

Come and pet the baby animals at the BankWest corner beginning at 9 a.m. until the Honeybees scoot them into the parade, which begins at 11 a.m.

Most other demonstrations will be at Settler’s Park on the side stage all afternoon. Check out the North helicopter on display from 1-3 p.m., karate demonstrates at 2, and K-9 demonstrations later in the afternoon. KRWC’s Road Show from 2-4 p.m. will also be set up at the park providing music, talk and festival information updates. Enjoy the musical talents of Wild Rose Clubber at 3:30 p.m. on the side stage while waiting for the Hanover Idol Karaoke contest talent to belt out their musical renditions beginning around 4:15 p.m.

Are you accustomed to leisurely nibbling your way through fairs and festivals? Well, we’ve got the goodies! The Hanover Lions will sell their tasty roast beef sandwiches at the BankWest corner, as well as at Settler’s park in their beer garden.

Get your second or third cup of hot coffee and cinnamon rolls at the market area by BankWest in the morning, in addition to tasty kettle corn, pop, hot dogs and mini donuts. Then while you’re up at St. Paul’s browsing the craft expo, refuel with a root beer float and/or sloppy joe. By then you’ll probably welcome a free shuttle ride over to city hall to catch lunch.

At Settler’s Park, feel free to munch your way around enjoying popcorn, peanuts and other snacks from the snack wagon while washing it down with a cold brewski or two in the beer garden. Don’t forget dinner back at City Hall. Rumor has it the pork chops are de-lish!.
