Hanover Idol

Do you like to sing? Maybe you will be the 1^st Hanover Idol! Join us for the Hanover Harvest Festival’s First Annual Hanover Idol on Saturday August 5, 2006!

Contest Rules and Information:

• Song performances must be between 90-120 seconds in length.
• You will be singing with a Karaoke machine on the day of the performance. You will need to have a song choice in mind and know when you would like the DJ to fade out the music.
• There will be two sessions of performances.
• 2:00-2:50: Session One: Performances for ages up to 18
• 3:00-3:50: Session Two: Performances for ages 18 and older
• There will be voting after each session and the top five winners from each session will be in a Final Sing-Off Session beginning at 4:00.
• There is a $5.00 registration fee for each participant with a $0.25 voting charge.
• Registration forms must be mailed to or dropped off at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hanover by July 28, 2006. Phone registrations will not be accepted.
• The contest is limited in how many applicants can sing so it will be on a first come, first served basis. Please get your registration in early!

Schedule For Hanover Idol:

1:30-2:00: Group One begins song choices

2:00-2:50: Performances for ages up to 18 years old.

2:30-3:00: Group Two begins song choices

2:50-3:00: Voting for Group One Participants

3:00-3:50: Performances for ages 18 and older

3:50-4:00: Voting for Group Two Participants

4:00-5:00: Finals (voting to follow final sing-off with an award session to immediately follow)
