Pie Eating Contest

Chocolate pie anyone? If you hesitated too long last year, you’ve got another opportunity to get in on the best and tastiest pie eating contest around! That’s correct; the pie eating contest is back at this summer’s 4 th annual Hanover Harvest Festival, Saturday, August 2.

This year’s event fee is sliced in half with only two age categories: ages 5-10 pay $2 while ages 11 and over will be $5.

New this time around will be the size of these delicious pies. All pie sizes are four inches, and whomever finishes their pie first wins. First place winners in the 5-11 age group will be awarded trophies, while those 18 and over will score a gas gift card.

The event takes place at 1 p.m. in Settler’s Park on the main stage. Space is limited to ten participants in each age category. Contestants will be seated at a table and not permitted to use their hands while eating.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and waivers must be signed by a parent for contestants under 18 years of age.

Download your forms from the website Click Here to access: Registration and waiver form. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. the day of the event to fill any remaining spots.
