Remember that sweet playhouse/garden shed from last year’s Hanover Harvest Festival raffle? Based on community comments, it was a huge hit… too bad there was only one. But wait… now you can try your luck again!
This year, Bob Hegland is creating a bona fide playhouse as one of the Hanover Harvest Festival raffle items. And since tractors go hand in hand with farming, and Hanover is a rural community, the popular and practical John Deere lawn tractor is fast becoming an icon of the Hanover Harvest Festival raffle lineup. Again, the tractor will be on display at Tom Thumb. Note: Stan will likely not be included along with the winner of the tractor.
Rounding out this year’s raffle prizes will be the kids’ pedal tractor and two homemade garden benches, courtesy of Bob the Builder’s handiwork. Later this summer, the one-of-a-kind playhouse will sit playfully on the vacant corner of 5 th St. and County Road 19 next to the Fire Hall.
Be one of the first to purchase your raffle tickets at the kick-off on Monday, June 16 th at Settler’s Park. The raffle ticket kick-off coincides with the Park Board’s free Zoomobile at the park shelter at 6:30 p.m. that evening. Raffle ticket prices remain the same as last year: $5 each, 3 for $10, or 7 for $20.
Tickets will then be available starting June 17 th at the River Inn, Hilltop Bar, Tom Thumb, and BankWest. Support our community’s greatest one-day family event! Raffle winners will be announced on stage the evening of the event, Saturday, August 2. You do not need to be present to win.
